Bill Gates, the billionaire former CEO of Microsoft and now a self-styled global health savior, will stand trial on November 27, 2024, in the Netherlands. He is charged with misleading the public about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. Seven plaintiffs — each alleging life-altering side effects — accuse Gates of using his influence and vast wealth to push experimental vaccines on an unsuspecting world. Through his foundation and high-profile platforms like the World Economic Forum, Gates touted the vaccines as the ultimate solution while glossing over the risks, they claim.
Show Me the Money! The Gates Foundation acquired over a million shares in BioNTech, Pfizer’s partner for the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, just months before the pandemic began, buying in at a pre-public offering price of $18.10 per share in September 2019. In the third quarter of 2021 — BioNTech’s most profitable period — the foundation sold approximately 86% of those shares at $300 apiece, netting Gates’ foundation an estimated $260 million in profit ($242 million of which was untaxed), according to investigative journalist Jordan Schachtel. Ironically, despite being “vaccinated and boosted,” Gates tested positive for COVID in May 2022.
Biting the Hand That Feeds You Soon after cashing in his shares, Gates publicly criticized mRNA vaccine efficacy declaring at the Lowy Institute that “the current vaccines are not infection-blocking” and “have very short duration.” Worse, the data shows over 100,000 adverse events tied to COVID-19 vaccines by the end of 2021 alone. The plaintiffs allege Gates was part of a grand agenda known as “The Great Reset” — a scheme to “build back better” post-pandemic but which they argue only fueled Big Pharma’s profits while ordinary people bore the risk.
All of this is a stark reminder that, ultimately, we control our own health. We can’t count on billionaires or government — surprise, surprise — to protect us.
